Indelible appointment on the Asti autumn agenda, the event draws inspiration from the name from the ancient and very traditional practice of harvesting late grapes, called Rapulin 'd San Martin in the local dialect.
On the third weekend of October, after the hardships of the harvest for many companies, when the climate cools and the countryside is tinged with the warm and lively colors of autumn, the village of Calosso comes alive with its food and wine journey that allows all to delight the palate with a vast assortment of typical dishes of the local cuisine accompanied by the excellent DOC and DOCG wines of the 25 producers that are part of the Crota 'd Calos Association.

CROTIN​

The Crotin is the official currency of the Rapulè Fair.
Established along with the event in 2000, for over twenty-five years it has accompanied visitors along the route through cellars, courtyards, tastings, traditional dishes, and local products.
During the Fair, Crotins can be purchased at designated points and used for wine tastings, dishes, products, and bottles.
It's not just a coin.
It's one of the symbols of Rapulè.
A small object that tells the story of the event and which, year after year, has become part of its identity.
The Crotin is the only currency accepted during the event (1 Crotin = €1) and can be used to purchase dishes, wine tastings, and bottles at the end of the route.
